Good Lookin'

I am big on promoting luscious living, but looking luscious does not
mean you have empty your bank account. Just like Tyra Banks, I don't believe
in spending alot of money on clothes. Any woman on a tight budget can look
like she spent big bucks on her wardrobe as long as she knows where to
shop. A few ideas get your wardrobe together:

Sale Racks- Hit the sale racks of your favorite stores first then work your
way around to the rest of the store. You just might find what you are
looking for on the sale racks. Better yet, that great shirt you had your
eye on may now be half off.

“Bang for Your Buck” Stores- Think Target, Payless, Steve and Barry’s, etc. Have you noticed that big time designers are getting the hint and putting out affordable clothing lines? Even celebrities like Venus William and Sarah Jessica Parker are getting it, which is why Steve and Barry’s is so popular. Have you checked out the clothes at Target lately or browsed in Payless. These stores have stepped up their game and other stores are following suit.

Clothing Swaps- Talk about the newest rage! Clothing swaps have become popular all over the country. Not only is good for your bank account, it’s also good for the environment. You can put together a swap for you and your friends. All you have to do is pick a date and time, tell your friends to gather their gently worn clothes that they no longer want, bring them to the swap and get then everyone gets to swapping’. You now have clothes that are new to you. Donate any left over items to the organization of your choice.

One more thing to remember: just because something is on sale does not mean you have to get it. This is how bad clothes happen to good people. Flip though magazines to get ideas on how to put together outfits, that way you can create fabulous different looks.

Until next time,

I am the queen of clearance/discount shopping. I don't know what "full price" means!

I agree...you don't have to break the bank to be fabulous.

And high price does not equate style.
